A former board director with well-known names such as Your Move, Reeds Rains and Embrace Financial Services, Simon brings 35 years of experience to Cox & Flight which has involved overseeing £ multi-million turnover operations responsible for tens of thousands of mortgage submissions each year. When Simon isn’t busy being a financial services and estate agency expert, you’ll find him spinning his vast vinyl collection or perhaps watching a Liverpool match at his beloved Anfield. Having bought an old ale house several years ago and working on its restoration into a cosy family home, he’s also no stranger to the customer side of property purchasing, giving him a real edge in the empathy stakes.
With 35 years of FS and EA experience under his belt, Scot has a strong background in developing successful partnerships with introducer businesses – and was formerly the national business development director at Embrace Financial Services. His role there gave him first-hand experience in recruiting and on-boarding over 150 new introducer partners, plus building the income stream from zero to a six figure run rate in under two years. As a keen golfer, Scot has been a spectator at nearly every Open Championship since 1975 – which he fits between his other sporting passion of horse racing. He’s also a keen (and experimental) cook and a big fan of travelling to sunnier climes, especially in colder times.
Having started in the property industry at just 17, Jarrad has a wealth of knowledge in the Estate Agency and Financial Sectors and brings a new and fresh approach to his processes. Jarrad won the coveted British Mortgage Award in 2019 for his achievements in Insurance. He takes great pride in offering his clients a 5-star service and building relationships that ensure they can always call on him to help. When he’s not busy with clients and arranging mortgage / insurance policies, you’ll likely find him on the golf course! Once a powerlifter, Jarrad holds a British record and became the Welsh and British Champion in the past but now prefers to keep fit and lead an active lifestyle.
Denis has worked in Financial Services for over 16 years and has been a Mortgage and Protection Consultant for the last 9 years. His primary focus is building long term relationships with his clients and their families. Initially helping them buy their homes and, as years go by, assisting with mortgaging all the time making sure that they have adequate long-term protection. He also specialises in Investment and Buy To Let mortgages. Away from work, Denis spends his spare time with his wife, Becky and his 2 young sons. As a family they are all heavily involved with his local community which includes charitable work with young people.
Jane has over 30 years’ experience of working in Estate Agency / Financial Services up to Regional Managing Director level – previously working with Simon for 15 years. Of late she has worked in an independent multi branch estate agency restructuring the business and as Project Manager for a Mortgage and Financial Services company and joined Cox & Flight to oversee the standards of advice and service are delivered to the highest level. Outside of work, Jane’s interests lie with her horses, her collie-doodle puppy called Bailey and ‘chill swimming’ which she often does in the open sea.
Gilbert has nearly 20 years’ experience as a mortgage and protection adviser, having spent the last 2 years focused on self-employed contractors who are part of the CIS (Construction industry scheme). He's passionate about helping clients buy their dream home and keep it, by simplifying the mortgage process and making the journey as stress free as possible To relax, Gilbert spends a lot of his time visiting relatives and friends, following F1 with his family and is an active member of his local Caribbean Music Association.
David has been a mortgage and protection adviser for over 12 years. Having started out specialising in the new build market, he has a wide range of experience including investment and buy to let mortgages. He takes pride in making the house buying process as easy and stress-free as possible and making sure that his clients are protected if the worst was to happen. Away from the office David enjoys spending time with his family and dogs and trying to get to the gym when he can.
