With their experience in securing tens of thousands of mortgages and insurance policies every year, Simon and Scot soon realised that there was room to improve the standards of service available to partners, associates and clients alike. So that’s what they did: setting up Cox and Flight to provide a brilliantly unique, boutique experience that offers exceptional choice and value across the board.
Not only that, but they also have a soft spot for charitable causes, with a commitment to donating a percentage of Cox & Flight’s annual profits every year – this year our chosen charity is Colour Blind Awareness.
Our impartial mortgage and insurance specialists offer a genuine, comprehensive mortgage service, ensuring great deals, great value and the highest standards of insurance.
We don’t just do standard mortgages – our impartial advisors can help you find retirement interest-only and equity release mortgages, bridging and development finance and much more.*
Thanks to the power provided by the partnership network we enjoy through HLP, our mortgage advisors also often have access to a range of excellent, exclusive, not-on-the-high street deals.
A former board director with well-known names such as Your Move, Reeds Rains and Embrace Financial Services, Simon brings 35 years of experience to Cox & Flight which has involved overseeing £ multi-million turnover operations responsible for tens of thousands of mortgage submissions each year. When Simon isn’t busy being a financial services and estate agency expert, you’ll find him spinning his vast vinyl collection or perhaps watching a Liverpool match at his beloved Anfield. Having bought an old ale house several years ago and working on its restoration into a cosy family home, he’s also no stranger to the customer side of property purchasing, giving him a real edge in the empathy stakes.
With 35 years of FS and EA experience under his belt, Scot has a strong background in developing successful partnerships with introducer businesses – and was formerly the national business development director at Embrace Financial Services. His role there gave him first-hand experience in recruiting and on-boarding over 150 new introducer partners, plus building the income stream from zero to a six figure run rate in under two years. As a keen golfer, Scot has been a spectator at nearly every Open Championship since 1975 – which he fits between his other sporting passion of horse racing. He’s also a keen (and experimental) cook and a big fan of travelling to sunnier climes, especially in colder times.
With 22 years in Financial Services, Jess worked for Halifax in her early career, before moving into the estate agency environment for the national brands of Reeds Rains, Your Move and Embrace Financial Services. This has given her a strong and successful career and her clients benefit from both great knowledge and experience. When not helping clients with mortgages and insurance, she is a mum to her 2 boys (well make that 3 including her husband !) and Amber (the Labrador). As a family they love all things outdoors.
Having started in the property industry at just 17, Jarrad has a wealth of knowledge in the Estate Agency and Financial Sectors and brings a new and fresh approach to his processes. Jarrad won the coveted British Mortgage Award in 2019 for his achievements in Insurance. He takes great pride in offering his clients a 5-star service and building relationships that ensure they can always call on him to help. When he’s not busy with clients and arranging mortgage / insurance policies, you’ll likely find him on the golf course! Once a powerlifter, Jarrad holds a British record and became the Welsh and British Champion in the past but now prefers to keep fit and lead an active lifestyle.
